Dass das Telefoniren über das Handy per Bluetooth funktioniert, ist mir bekannt.
Hatte bisher für Google Maps das WLAN am Handy ausschalten müssen, um den Mobile Hotspot einschalten zu können, wie mir beim Kauf des Autos gezeigt wurde. Hatte bisher noch nichts von einem AA Wireless Adapter gehört.
Werde es ausprobieren. Danke für die Hinweise.

A-K_UserMan hätte dir auch einfach sagen können, dass du nen usb-a auf usb-c Datenkabel in der mittelkonsole anstecken kannst.
Der AA Wireless Adapter (es gibt auch noch adapter anderer Firmen) ersetzt dir dieses Kabel durch eine Bluetooth Verbindung. Dein Handy baut also dann zwei Verbindungen auf: zum Auto direkt für Sound (Telefon) und zum AA Wireless Adapter für die restlichen Daten. Via Hotspot vom Auto und dann über WLAN ist ja voll umständlich. Zumal das Auto ja auf irgendein Modem zugreifen muss, um eine Datenverbindung zur Verfügung zu stellen. Und das ist dein Handy sofern du keine SIM Karte im Auto hast. Das mit dem Hotspot ist eigentlich für Mitfahrer gedacht.

Why can't you use your GPS? Is it damaged?
You cannot update the maps anymore. By reasons. But you can already use the GPS.
Same with Windows 95. You can already use it but it's not recommended for security reasons.
You can choose any brand you want. No one forces you to buy Opel.

Have you paid for the extras that your car has? of course yes, one of them is the GPS??? of course yes!

You can't because there is NO update for the roads, for the points of interest anymore.
The maps are from 2019!!!! now we have 2025!!
if you are happy with what Opel did then don't try to justify it to me for the stupid things it did!
I paid over 25,000€ with the extras that I installed, one of which was the GPS.
I know companies that after many years still give upgrades!

lazlo you should read "licence agreement" which you can find in navi software in about section. LIcence agreement is between You as customer and Telenav as provider, not You and Opel. Users alredy wroted they writed to Telenav, Telenav send users to Opel, Opel have nothing more with Telenav becouse they are no more under GM but Stelantis or something like that ... however in this story we are smoked. I dont wish use Google or Androidauto becouse i like original navi software but i also wish RTTM, like benzin price, parking price what i have personaly saw in my Astra and ofc traffic jam. That functions are disabled for us.

Ich weiß halt nicht, ob Chevrolet da aushelfen könnte? Wie gesagt: das selbe System aus Astra K und Isignia wird auch in der Corvette C8 verbaut. Aber kenne mich da technisch nicht so aus damit.
